When your child is at Stepping Stones, they will be given a Key Person. Children are introduced to their Key Person on their first visit to the setting and are then helped and looked after by their Key Person during their settling in.
The Key Person will plan for your child’s individual needs and help develop them socially, emotionally, intellectually, culturally and physically. Another aspect of the Key Person’s role is linking with you the parents, creating opportunities for you to talk about your child’s development and well being.
The Key Person is responsible for keeping and updating your child’s Learning Journey which will be shared with you on a termly basis.
