Having a constructive and positive partnership between nursery, parents and carers is vital to enable a child to thrive.

At Stepping Stones we pride ourselves on the partnerships we build with our parents and carers.

As parents and carers, you are experts on your children, and positive communication with you ensures each child is cared for individually.

We will provide many opportunities for you to come into nursery, whether it be a stay and play, a celebration or an opportunity to discuss your child, our doors are always open.

Working in partnership may also mean that nursery is part of your home life too. For example, we may send home an activity for you to carry out as a family, such as going on an autumn walk and collecting items of nature for us to use in nursery the following week.

When joining Stepping Stones you will be given the details of EYLog. This is the app we use to work closely in partnership with yourselves, giving an insight into what happens in nursery, what your child’s days here may include and to share reminders and information about things happening in nursery.
